(SATBSATB, accompanied)

Composed in 1748 by George Friedrich Handel, the oratorio "Solomon" is based on a biblical story about a wise King named Solomon, son of King David. The libretto is attributed to Newburgh Hamilton. Written for two choirs which sing almost similar parts in succession, this anthem can be handled by almost any amateur choirs.
