Attributed to Richard Farrant
(SATB, a cappella)
Little is known about composer Richard Farrant. Just that he was a choirmaster, a producer of plays, and also a playwright himself. He lived in England in the 16th century and a few surviving anthems are attributed to him aside from Call to Remembrance. Two of them are Hide not Thy Face and Lord, For Thy Tender Mercies' Sake.
